Goals:

• The student can identify own strengths, skills and values

• The student can reflect own learning methods and create effective learning skills for upper secondary school studies

• The student understands what self-management skills are and is able to set own goals for learning

• The student is able to identify ways to promote own well-being

• The student is familiar with the PreDP curriculum

• The student is familiar with the IB DP transition criteria

• The student is able to create own study plan for the PreDP year

• The student knows the structure of the IB DP studies and can choose meaningful subjects for own study plan

• The student knows the basics about the application processes for further education

• The student can reflect own ideas about further education options

Evaluation:

The study unit will be assessed with grades: S (pass) or H (fail)

If the student's competence cannot be fully assessed after the study unit, it can be temporarily assessed with: O (participated in the study unit). If the student won’t complete the study unit in a specified time, the study unit can be assessed with K (uncompleted).

Kurssin tavoitteena on, että opiskelija

  • osaa käyttää ja soveltaa orgaanisiin yhdisteisiin ja ainemäärään liittyviä käsitteitä
  • jokapäiväisen elämän, ympäristön, yhteiskunnan ja teknologian ilmiöissä
  • osaa tutkia kokeellisesti ja erilaisia malleja käyttäen orgaanisiin yhdisteisiin, aine- määrään ja pitoisuuteen liittyviä ilmiöitä

  • ymmärtää, kuinka kemiallinen tieto rakentuu kokeellisen toiminnan ja siihen kyt- keytyvän mallintamisen kautta

  • osaa käyttää tieto- ja viestintäteknologiaa mallintamisen välineenä.

     

     
  • osaa käyttää ja soveltaa tietoa aineiden ominaisuuksista ja niiden turvallisuu- desta arjen valinnoissa

  • ainemäärä ja pitoisuus
